The Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) has praised Dangote Refinery for lowering petrol prices to ₦899.50 per litre, easing the financial strain on Nigerians during the holiday season.
Joseph Obele, PETROAN’s spokesperson, noted that this ₦71 price cut offers relief to motorists and the general public.
PETROAN President Billy Gillis-Harry added that the move would help curb living and transportation costs during the festive period.
Dangote Refinery confirmed the price change as part of measures to support Nigerians and introduced a credit option for customers purchasing fuel with cash, backed by guarantees from select banks.
