The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Nigeria’s poultry industry.

This was highlighted during a meeting with key stakeholders in Lagos, including representatives from government agencies, private sector players, and development partners, convened by the AFOS Foundation.

Winnie Lai-Solarin, Director of Animal Husbandry Services, stated that the ministry is focused on collaborating with stakeholders to promote knowledge sharing and collective problem-solving, aiming to overcome challenges in the poultry value chain.

“We are committed to working together to overcome the challenges facing our industry. This meeting marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration and cooperation,” Lai-Solarin emphasized.
