The Chairman of Air Peace Group, Allen Onyema, has pledged to repatriate Nigerian minors who were recently discovered to have been trafficked to Ivory Coas, completely free of charge.

Sharing his concerns via a post on the airline’s official X account, Onyema denounced the act of trafficking, describing it as heartless, inhumane, and a moral failure of society. He called for a united front in fighting such atrocities.

Onyema, clearly shaken by the incident, stated: “Human trafficking must be strongly condemned in all its forms. It reflects the darkest side of humanity. Air Peace is fully committed to flying these young girls back to Nigeria without demanding any payment.”

He further revealed plans to offer them comprehensive medical care upon return.

“Each of them will undergo free medical evaluation and receive treatment at Duchess International Hospital in Ikeja,” he added.

Onyema urged the Nigerian Embassy in Côte d’Ivoire to identify and gather the affected individuals so the repatriation process can begin. He also appealed to the Federal Government to assist in reuniting the girls with their families and support their educational journey moving forward.
