The Nigerian sensation and songwriter, Ahmed Ololade, recognised by his stage name, Asake has ranked #1 on the Apple music chart in the United Kingdom.
The YBNL-Empire artiste released his latest album on Friday, August 9, 2024, the highly anticipated album which features Nigeria Industry Giant Wizkid, American rapper Travis Scott, British rappers Stormzy and Central Cee, and Brazilian songstress Ludmilla.
This freshly released album iis alreading hoarding influential stream numbers, equally dominating the charts both locally and internationally.
As the album’s momentum snowballs rapidly, ‘Lungu Boy’ also reached #1 on the Apple Music UK Chart, succeeding his inaugural album ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe’ and his sophomore album ‘Work of Art’, rounding it to be his third project the feat.
Beyond the UK, the album has also ranked #1 on Apple Music in the singer’s home country, Nigeria, Benin, Gambia, Mali, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Kenya, Liberia, Senegal, Tanzania, Niger, Uganda, Ghana, Malawi, Ireland, and Senegal.
