Controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reportedly left Nigeria after his recent release by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a series of Instagram videos shared Monday, Bobrisky revealed he was travelling first class, though he kept his destination undisclosed.
His departure follows an eventful week in which he was detained at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, removed from a KLM flight, and questioned by the EFCC over alleged bribery related to money laundering charges.
Bobrisky’s legal issues trace back to an April 2024 naira abuse conviction, leading to a six-month sentence.
He served only three weeks before reportedly being relocated.
In September, social media influencer Martins Otse released audio allegedly implicating Bobrisky in further bribery claims involving EFCC officials.
