Burna Boy and other African artists, Davido, Asake, Tems, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, Olamide, Libianca nominated under different categories under the recording sphere of the 55th NAACP Image Awards.

Burna boy was the the African Artist with the most nominations at the awards with five awards. He was nominated for Outstanding Male Artist, Outstanding International Songwith his hit single City Boys, Outstanding Hip-Hop/Rap Song with Sittin’ On Top of The World, Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration with 21 Savage for Sittin’ On Top of The World and lastly Outstanding Album with I Told Them.

Davido was nominated for Outstanding Male Artist, Outstanding International Song with Unavailable featuring, Musa Keys, Outstanding Music Video/Visual Album for Sensational with artists Chris Brown, Lojay and Davido. Lastly, he was nominated as part of Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration in the contemporary category also with Chris Brown and Lojay for Sensational.
