Celebrities have taken to social media to react to YBNL CEO and rapper Olamide becoming the first and only Nigerian rapper to receive a Grammy Award nomination.

Olamide was recognised with a nomination for Best African Music Performance following his collaborative song with Asake titled Amapiano. His nomination was confirmed by the Recording Academy, who confirmed the full list of nominees ahead of the 66th edition of the Grammy Awards, which would be held in February 2024.

Fellow rapper Reminisce took to his social media platform to show his support for Olamide as he quoted a post which confirmed his nomination for the prestigious award.
