A Federal High Court in Lagos has rejected a fundamental rights suit filed by Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, against the EFCC.

Bobrisky sought N200 million for “psychotic trauma” and N1 billion from the National Assembly for alleged rights violations.

He also sought an injunction to prevent the EFCC and the National Assembly from harassing or detaining him.

The suit followed accusations that Bobrisky paid N15 million to the EFCC to drop money laundering charges, a claim linked to leaked audio by influencer Martins Otse.

Delivering judgment on November 28, Justice Alexander Owoeye ruled that Bobrisky failed to provide credible evidence to support his claims.

The court dismissed the suit and declined to award damages against the EFCC.
