Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a new price adjustment for Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), lowering the ex-depot price from ₦890 to ₦825 per litre. The reduction, effective February 27, 2025, comes as part of efforts to ease economic burdens on Nigerians.
Under the revised pricing structure, fuel will be sold at ₦860 per litre in Lagos, ₦870 in the South-West, ₦880 in the North, and ₦890 in the South-South and South-East at MRS Holdings stations. Similarly, AP (Ardova Petroleum) and Heyden stations will retail petrol at ₦865 in Lagos, ₦875 in the South-West, ₦885 in the North, and ₦895 in the South-South and South-East.
The refinery assured Nigerians of an adequate fuel supply while reaffirming its role in supporting economic stability and increasing foreign exchange earnings through exports. The company urged fuel marketers to reflect the price reduction in their sales, ensuring that Nigerians benefit from the adjustment.
This marks the second petrol price reduction in February, following a previous ₦60 cut earlier in the month. The reduction coincides with preparations for Ramadan and aligns with the government’s economic recovery measures.
