Award-winning singer Davido has sent popular American rapper Drake who placed a bet on the Joshua vs Ngannou fight.
Nigerian Afrobeats sensation, Davido, has recently made a playful jab at Canadian rapper, Drake, following his loss of a significant £478,000 bet on Francis Ngannou defeating Anthony Joshua in the highly anticipated heavyweight boxing bout which took place on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Drake had taken to his Instagram page to share a slip of the substantial bet he had placed on the fight, hoping that Ngannou would come out on top. However, his prediction didn’t come through as Anthony Joshua knocked out Ngannou, winning the match in just two rounds. It seems as though Davido found Drake’s loss to be quite amusing as the singer had initially pledged his support for Anthony Joshua regardless of how much he believed Francis Ngannou was totally likeable.
Davido seems to be getting his prediction right and fans were also excited with many liking and commenting on his post.
