The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, has assured Nigerians of the military’s determination to rid the nation of criminal activities threatening its security.
During a visit to the military cantonment in Samaru, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State, General Musa highlighted the military’s efforts in tackling insecurity in Southern Kaduna and surrounding areas.
He commended troops for their dedication and professionalism while pledging to improve their welfare.
General Musa urged the troops to remain steadfast, professional, and respectful of human rights in their duties.
He also stressed the importance of working closely with other security agencies and civilians to ensure the nation’s safety.
The Commander of Operation Safe Haven and General Officer Commanding 3 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar, encouraged the troops to sustain their efforts in securing their areas of operation.
Senator Sunday Marshal, representing Kaduna South, praised the military’s efforts and pledged to enhance collaboration between civilians and the military for better security in the region.
The CDS, accompanied by senior officers, also visited the Chief of Kagoro’s palace, where he reaffirmed the military’s commitment to fostering unity and peace in the area.
