Following the release of his new album For All the Dogs, Drake has announced that he will not make music for a year or maybe longer due to health-related issues.
Drake’s most recent album, For All the Dogs, will mark the Grammy-award-winning artist’s final release for the year. The Canadian rapper announced this on October 6th during his radio interview with SiriusXM radio show, Table for One. Drake disclosed that he’s been grappling with stomach problems for an extended period, which influenced his choice.
“I probably won’t make music for a little bit. I need to focus on my health first and foremost. I have been having the craziest problem with my stomach for years. I am going to lock the door on the studios for a little bit. Maybe a year”, Drake stated.
Following the launch of his eighth studio album, For All The Dogs, which hit the shelves on October 6th, his music break announcement was made. The album boasts a total of 23 songs and includes collaborations with notable artists such as 21 Savage, Sexy Red, Yeat, SZA, Bad Bunny, and even his own son, Adonis, who contributes with a rap verse on the track Daylight. Adonis was also the one who drew a picture that became the album’s cover.
