One of the most reliable banks in Africa, Ecobank, has honoured 88 of its customers with a total of N8 million during its September monthly and quarterly raffle draws as part of the ‘Ecobank Super Rewards, the Millionaire Geng Season.’
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), 80 customers won N50,000 each, amounting to N4 million, in the monthly draw. Additionally, eight winners received N500,000 each, totalling another N4 million in the quarterly draw, making a combined reward of N8 million.
Since the series began in July 2024, Ecobank has awarded N16 million in cash rewards to its customers.
Speaking at the announcement of winners in Lagos, Mr. Odjegba Otega, the bank’s Regional Head for the Apapa-Isolo Region, explained that 20 winners emerged from each of Ecobank’s four divisions during the monthly draw, and two winners were selected from each division in the quarterly draw.
The event, monitored by representatives from the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, highlighted the participation of over 291,000 customers from regions including the FCT and North, South-South and South-East, Southwest and Midwest, and Lagos.
Ecobank’s Head of Consumer Product and Segment, Mr. Victor Yalokwu, noted that the raffle, introduced mid-year, aims to reward both new and existing customers. To qualify, customers must maintain a minimum balance of N10,000 for at least 30 days.
Yalokwu added that 512 customers are expected to be rewarded throughout the campaign with a total cash prize of N42 million, divided into monthly, quarterly, and grand finale categories.
The next raffle draws will take place in November and December, leading up to the grand finale, where eight lucky customers will win N2 million each.
