The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 105 individuals, including four Chinese nationals, for alleged involvement in internet fraud.

The suspects were apprehended at a business apartment in the Gudu area of Abuja on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

EFCC’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, confirmed the arrest in a statement on Friday. He revealed that the group comprises 67 males—among them the four Chinese nationals—and 38 females.

The suspects are reportedly linked to a sophisticated hotel review scam targeting victims and establishments across Europe and other regions.
