The Federal Government has launched a flexible payment plan for the purpose of converting vehicles’ engine to operate on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) more affordable for Nigerian’s.
The National Orientation Agency of Nigeria (NOAN) disclosed this on Tuesday, staing that the initiative is a part of efforts to encourage the adoption of CNG as an alternative energy source across the country.
The NOA explained that the new payment options allow vehicle owners to convert from petrol to CNG now and pay later through affordable monthly instalments at competitive rates.
The simple online application and fast approval process aim to ensure a seamless transition.
The agency, highlighting the benefits of the initiative, emphasised cost savings, reduced environmental impact, enhanced engine longevity, and the safety and reliability of CNG technology, which has a proven track record of dependable performance.
