The Federal Government has shortlisted 11 directors for the final stage of the permanent secretaries’ recruitment process in the Federal Civil Service.
This was revealed in a memo from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), signed by Dr Emmanuel Meribole on behalf of the exam committee.
The memo noted that the selected candidates advanced after completing the first two stages of the recruitment exercise, which is aimed at filling vacancies in eight states.
Out of 38 directors who participated in the first stage, 19 advanced to the second stage, with 11 now proceeding to the oral interview.
Earlier guidelines issued by the OHCSF, signed by Didi Walson-Jack, barred officials under disciplinary action from applying for the positions.
The recruitment process has been approved by President Bola Tinubu, who is expected to announce the final appointments once the exercise concludes.
