Flocoh Estate Club, Ipaja, Lagos has announced a week-long programme to celebrate its 40th anniversary, featuring a variety of activities, including a free medical outreach for local residents.
This announcement was released on Sunday by the Chairman of the 40th Anniversary Planning Committee, Akinola Bashiru, the medical outreach is scheduled for Thursday, October 24, 2024, and will offer free treatment for eye defects, general health checkups, and medications at no cost.
Club President Aina-Kushoro stated the importance of this initiative, stating, “We want to ensure that many people in Ipaja and its environs benefit from this exercise, particularly in the detection and treatment of eye defects and general health screenings.”
The week of festivities will commence on Tuesday, October 22, with a visit to homes of less privileged individuals and the unveiling of the Club’s Corporate Social Responsibility project.
Other scheduled events include sporting activities on Wednesday, October 23, a Jumat service on Friday, October 25, followed by members’ night and the induction of honorary members.
The celebration will continue with the Club’s Annual General Meeting and a Gala Night on Saturday, October 26, before concluding with a Thanksgiving Church Service on Sunday, October 27.
