Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour to Contest 2027 Lagos Governorship.

Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour (GRV) has confirmed his intention to run for Lagos State Governor in 2027.

The Labour Party (LP) candidate in the 2023 race, who lost to the incumbent Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stated in a Channels Television interview that he would continue to pursue his ambition.

While he did not specify if he would again contest under the LP or another party, Rhodes-Vivour emphasised the need for opposition unity to challenge the current state leadership.

He highlighted his goal of strengthening the LP ahead of the 2027 election.
