It is an open secret that DJ Michelle’s reputation precedes her. Judging by her beatmatching prowess, she is one of the best young female turntablists in the country. Without exaggerating, her spinback and music-juggle skills are unequaled. Stunning and always making an impression with her performance at all her gigs, it won’t be out of place to say DJ Michelle is unrivaled. Her 8 pm – 9 pm (Monday to Sunday) Road Block Party Mix (RBPM) show on Vybz 94.5FM is eargasmic

Michelle Abesin, alias DJ Michelle is a native of Osun State and an alumnus of Osun State University. Her rise to fame may seem unorthodox but are artistry is unquestionable; for a fact, her music mix is not like the stereotypical playlist from some over-hyped celeb deejays. Michelle faultlessly blends a plethora of Afrobeats, Makosa, and hip-hop, Bongo Flava, Soukous, Hiplife, Rnb, and Amapiano. She has good ears for emerging music from across the world.

According to her, “I started my Djing journey in 2019 when I enlisted at the Kaywise Academy. I was 19 years of age then, the first female on that project, and arguably one of the best that emerged from the academy. Since getting my certificate as a professional DJ, I have been on an upward trajectory. I have performed at several shows in and out of the country. I also ply my trade as one of the resident DJs at Vybz 94.5FM and have put out Party mixes once every three months. My next set of projects will take the industry by storm.”
