Nigerian popular singer, Habeeb Okikiola also know as Popular has to took to social media to shared his opinion after the organisers of Headings Award Disqualified him from its 15 edition that will held at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on September 4, 2022.
Organizers of Headings released a statement on Tuesday, they revealed that portable was disqualified for being the subject of an investigation relating to criminal activities, and for issuing death threat to his co-nominees.
Portable was nominated in the ‘Best Street Artist’ and ‘Rookie of the Year Categories.
According to organisers, his disqualification is aimed at passing a strong message that it does not condone reckless and uncouth statements.
In reaction to the update, Portable shared a video of himself bragging and noting that he does not regret his actions.
He said : I am a child of light. I have fame, I have money, I have cars, I have wives, I have children. I am rich. People know me everywhere. I don’t regret my actions”, the singer said.
