The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will close on March 8, with no possibility of an extension.
JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, reiterated that the registration period, which started on February 3, will end on the announced date, urging prospective candidates to avoid waiting until the last minute.
He revealed that over 1.5 million candidates have already registered for the exam. Benjamin also explained that the fixed registration deadline aligns with the broader schedule of subsequent processes, which involve other agencies and are integral to ensuring smooth operations.
Candidates are encouraged to finalise their registration before the set deadline.
