The Kogi State Government has blamed Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan for defying its ban on political gatherings, warning that she should be held responsible if any unrest occurs in the state.

Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo, in a statement on Tuesday, accused the senator of deliberately violating the directive aimed at maintaining peace. He alleged that she intended to incite violence in Kogi Central Senatorial District.

“She should be held accountable for her blatant attempts to incite violence and cause unnecessary tension,” Fanwo stated, emphasizing that her actions disregarded public safety and the stability of the state.
