The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has released a cautionary statement regarding the activities of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Services, led by Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

According to a statement released on Sunday by NAFDAC’s Director General, Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye, the said Ministry has been using NAFDAC’s name to jinx the masses.

NAFDAC revealed that none of the products advertised and sold by the ministry, including Miracle Water and Miracle Soap, are registered with the agency.

The products are falsely claimed to have healing properties, particularly for barrenness. Prophet Fufeyin allegedly told his congregation that the products were NAFDAC-registered, prompting members of the public to seek verification.

Following several petitions, NAFDAC conducted investigations, which included purchasing samples of the products.

Despite evidence, ministry officials denied manufacturing the items, claiming that only their logo and address were used on the labels.

Subsequent visits by NAFDAC’s investigation teams were met with non-cooperation.

On August 27th, 2024, NAFDAC issued a formal invitation for the ministry to provide further information.

However, instead of appearing for the investigation, the ministry submitted legal documents. Further probes led to the sealing of Globod Table Water, a factory linked to the production of the unregistered miracle products.
