Marwa noted that while the facility is not fully complete, it is functional enough to accommodate the agency’s expanding workforce.

The old headquarters in Gimbiya, Garki, will now serve as an annex.

Marwa thanked President Bola Tinubu for his continued support and emphasised that the new work environment would enhance efficiency and coordination.

He also commended his predecessor for initiating the project and expressed gratitude to international partners, local stakeholders, and the National Assembly for their support.

Secretary to the Agency, Shadrach Haruna, praised Marwa’s leadership, citing the agency’s growth in staff strength from 5,000 to 15,000 and improvements in staff welfare, such as promotions and payment of accumulated allowances.

The event included Christian and Islamic prayers for President Tinubu and Nigeria, alongside the unveiling of a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion.
