The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Benin Republic and Rwanda for November 14 and 18, respectively.
On Tuesday, NFF confirmed in a statement that the Super Eagles’ Matchday 5 encounter against Benin Republic will be held on November 14 at Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny.
The game will kick off at 8 p.m. (Nigeria time). Senegalese referee Issa Sy will officiate the match, assisted by Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and El Hadji Amadou Sy.
Rene Williams Sere from Côte d’Ivoire will serve as the match commissioner, while Inacio Manuel Candido from Angola will act as the referee assessor.
For the Matchday 6 clash, Nigeria will face Rwanda on November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, starting at 5 p.m.
Moroccan referee Samir Guezzaz will be in charge of the game, with Zakaria Brinsi and Abdessamad Abertoune serving as assistant referees, and Kech Chaf Mustapha as the fourth official.
Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will serve as the match commissioner, while Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia will be the referee assessor.
These matches are crucial as the Super Eagles look to secure their place in the 2025 AFCON tournament.
