Nigeria Hosts Fifth Pan African Congress Holds in August 2023
Members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in all countries are gathering in Nigeria for the 5th Congress of the Pan African body. Anglophone, Francophone and Portuguese speaking countries in Africa are coming together in fraternity to pray for Africa, prayer for individual countries and rekindle the fire of the Holy Spirit in our lives, our communities and prayer groups.

The theme of the Congress is:

1. “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
2. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you.
3. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.” Isaiah 60:1-3.

The Congress is a call to rise to new life for the Lord to take us out of darkness and give us his glory. The Lord wants to use this Congress to liberate and raise Africa. God can do more than we ask of Him. The Pan African Congress aims at Personal total conversion to surrender ourselves totally to the work of Christ, rekindle the new life for our communities and prayer groups. It’s an opportunity to help predispose our hearts for the Lord to heal our wounds, for renewal, worship, empowerment for leaders and prayers for the Spiritual deliverance of our countries. There’ll be teachings, prayer sessions, youth forum, public rally and night of prayer during the Congress to intercede for the reign of the Lord in our countries, in Africa. Anointed Minister’s from across the globe will carry out prayer and teaching ministration during the power-packed programme in Nigeria.
