Nigerian singer, Chike turned a heated exchange into an unexpected act of kindness by gifting a Twitter troll a remarkable #1 million naira.
The drama unfolded after Chike posted a video, and the troll responded “mohbad made you”, implying that Chike’s success was due to the late artist Mohbad.
However, Chike surprised the internet with his clever comeback to the Twitter troll. Sarcastically, he offered to send the troll N1 million to address his issues of hunger and lack of success.
Surprisingly, Chike backed up his words with action by requesting the troll’s account details and making the transfer.
He subsequently posted the receipt of the transaction, with the caption, ” I know say na hunger. Hunger boy, Oya and eat”
The Nigerian singer, songwriter and actor rose to stardom by participating in the Nigerian reality competition Project Fame West Africa.
Also, he showcased his talents on ‘The Voice Nigeria’, where he achieved the second position during Season 1.
Chike went into acting by making his debut as Mayowa Badmus on the Africa Magic Showcase telenovela Battleground.
He also featured in ‘Gang of Lagos’, portraying the character Ify.
Chike released his first album, titled ‘Boo of the Booless’, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2020.
Following his debut, he released his second album, ‘The Brother’s Keeper’, in 2022.
