Police Officer Juliet Chukwu Wins Bantamweight Title in South Africa.

Corporal Juliet Chukwu of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has claimed the Bantamweight Championship at the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC119) in Johannesburg, South Africa, showcasing remarkable skill and determination.

In a statement on Saturday, the NPF celebrated Chukwu’s victory, describing it as a testament to the growing global impact of Nigerian athletes.

The Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, highlighted the NPF’s dedication to fostering excellence, including in sports.

Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun praised Chukwu’s success and reaffirmed the Force’s commitment to promoting Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) within its ranks.

Initiatives include the establishment of the Nigeria Police MMA Association, sponsorship of national MMA events, and plans to feature the sport at the upcoming Police Games in Oluyole.

The NPF reiterated its support for Chukwu and other officers excelling in diverse fields, emphasizing its commitment to talent development and international recognition in sports and beyond.

Chukwu’s achievement adds to the Force’s recent successes, including advancements in crime-fighting and institutional reforms, as part of its mission to foster excellence across all sectors.
