Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, appeared before a Magistrate Court in Abeokuta following allegations of attacking government officials.

The musician turned himself in at the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) after being declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command. He was subsequently transferred to the state headquarters in Abeokuta for further proceedings.

Portable, along with nine others, faced multiple charges, including assault, conspiracy, and obstruction of government officials. The incident reportedly took place at Odogwu Bar, his establishment in Sango, where three town planning officers were allegedly attacked while carrying out official duties.

During the court session, Portable pleaded not guilty. His legal representative, Oluwatoyin Ayodele, requested bail, stating that the singer had shown remorse and was ready to cooperate with authorities.

The magistrate granted him bail set at ₦2 million, requiring one surety of the same sum. The case was adjourned to March 5 for further hearing.
