President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), following an invitation from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The President’s arrival was confirmed by his Special Assistant on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, via a post on X.
The post featured a short video capturing Tinubu’s welcome by UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan.
The summit, which runs from January 12 to 18, is themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress.”
It will gather global leaders to discuss sustainable development and socio-economic progress.
During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to highlight his administration’s reforms in energy, transportation, public health, and economic growth.
He will also engage with UAE leaders to strengthen bilateral relations and explore new economic and diplomatic opportunities.
Tinubu is accompanied by key officials, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and APC Chairman Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
