Protest organisers plan one-million-man protest in 36 states and the FCT, slated for August 10

National Coordinator of the “Take It Back Movement”, a lead organiser of the #End Bad Governance nationwide protest, has slated Saturday, August 10 for a one-million-man protest across the 36 states and FCT, Abuja.

Mr Sanyaolu Juwon, National Coordinator of the movement, affirmed this in a statement on Thursday, August 8, in Abuja.

He mentioned, “The Take It Back Movement (TIB), along side with other organizers and organizations will lead a monumental one-million-man protest on August 10, in each of the 36 states of Nigeria and the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja

He added, “This event will mark a critical juncture in our nationwide #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria campaign, which began on August 1, 2024.

“It began as a planned 10-day protest but has snowballed into a sustained and widespread movement, pulling participants from every corner of Nigeria and the diaspora.”

The protest which aimed at drawing the attention of the governments at all levels to the hardship in the country started on August 1 and is expected to end on Saturday, August 10.
