Nigerian ace singer, songwriter, and performer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has given an update on his studentship status at the University of Lagos.
The 22-year-old superstar, who sometime in 2022 revealed that he got admission into Unilag to study creative arts as per his mother’s wishes, has made it known that he has quit the school.
Speaking in a recent interview, the singer revealed that he is no longer interested in the schooling phase due to the ASUU strike that left most Nigerian students at home for several months.
Rema claimed that he had concrete plans on managing to be both a student and an artiste, but the strike collided with his plans, and even though schools are now back in session, it is not in his plans to go back to studying.
