The Nigerian Senate has confirmed all seven ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu last week.

The confirmation followed a screening session on Wednesday, which began with Nentawe Yilwatda, nominated as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.

Other confirmed nominees include Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu for Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi for Minister of Labour and Employment, Jumoke Oduwole for Minister of Industry, Idi Maiha for Minister for Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Suwaiba Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.

This confirmation comes after Tinubu recently dismissed five ministers, reassigned 10 to new roles, and nominated seven new appointees for Senate approval.
