Nigerian singer Tems has won her second Grammy Award, securing the Best African Music Performance category at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards with her song Love Me Jeje.

Her victory came against strong competition from Burna Boy (Higher), Asake and Wizkid (MMS), Yemi Alade (Tomorrow), and Chris Brown’s Sensational featuring Davido and Lojay.

Love Me Jeje pays homage to Seyi Sodimu’s 1997 classic of the same title.

During her acceptance speech, Tems expressed gratitude to God, her management team, and her mother, who accompanied her on stage.

This marks her second Grammy win, following her 2023 award for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
