President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for the 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union (AU) Heads of State and Government, where he is expected to participate in key discussions on continental peace, security, and economic collaboration.
The summit, themed “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent Through Reparations,” will address issues of racial equity and historical redress.
President Tinubu is also expected to speak at the AU Peace and Security Council meeting, where discussions will focus on conflicts affecting African nations, particularly the escalating crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
With several Nigerian ministers accompanying him, Tinubu is engaging in diplomatic efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s role in African affairs before his scheduled return to Abuja on February 17.
