Tinubu Names Eight New Permanent Secretaries to Fill Civil Service Vacancies.

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new permanent secretaries in the federal civil service to address both existing and anticipated vacancies.

The appointments come after a rigorous screening process overseen by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

This was disclosed in a statement released Monday evening by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga.

The new appointees include Ihemelandu Onwusoro (Abia), Philip Ndiomu (Bayelsa), Nlia Anuma (Ebonyi), Nnam Ogbodo (Enugu), Usman Kalba (Gombe), Aminu Usman (Kebbi), Nwakuso Oyekunle (Rivers), and Gagare Nadungu (Kaduna).

This development follows a previous round of appointments made in June, which included representatives from several other states.

President Tinubu charged the new officials to prioritise innovation, hard work, and dedication in their service to the country.
