President Bola Tinubu has promised to ease the economic hardships faced by Nigerians, particularly the rising cost of food and essential drugs.

In his New Year’s address, he announced the launch of the National Credit Guarantee Company, which is expected to begin operations by mid-2025.

Tinubu expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic future, highlighting improvements such as a stronger naira, increased foreign reserves, and a booming stock market.

He pledged to lower inflation from its current high of 34.6% to 15% by enhancing food production and encouraging the local production of essential goods.

The President also announced plans for a Youth Conference in early 2025, which aims to promote inclusiveness and youth development.

He further revealed the upcoming launch of a National Values Charter to inspire unity, patriotism, and trust among Nigerians.

Tinubu called on all citizens to remain united and committed to the country’s progress.

He assured Nigerians that their sacrifices would not be in vain, expressing confidence that 2025 would bring a brighter future for all.
