President Bola Tinubu has returned to Abuja following official trips to France and South Africa, marking his 33rd international engagement since assuming office.
In France, Tinubu held talks with President Emmanuel Macron, resulting in agreements on infrastructure development and agricultural sustainability.
Nigerian banks, including UBA Group and Zenith Bank, expanded their reach by launching operations in Paris.
In South Africa, Tinubu co-chaired the 11th Bi-National Commission with President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He emphasised the shared responsibility of both nations in driving Africa’s development and sought South Africa’s support for Nigeria’s G20 membership bid, which Ramaphosa endorsed, advocating for greater African representation.
The visit also led to the establishment of a joint advisory council aimed at boosting trade and investment between the two countries.
Since assuming office, Tinubu has visited 17 countries, spending 139 days abroad while pursuing Nigeria’s global partnership goals.
