President Bola Tinubu will visit France on Wednesday at the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron, the presidency announced.
During the three-day visit, Tinubu will meet with Macron at the historic Les Invalides and the Palais de l’Élysée for ceremonies and bilateral discussions.
The purpose of the visit is to strengthen Nigeria-France ties in areas including agriculture, security, education, health, energy transition, and youth employment.
The France-Nigeria Business Council will also host a session focusing on private sector engagement in economic development.
Additionally, Nigeria’s First Lady, alongside her French counterpart, Brigitte Macron, will discuss initiatives for empowering women, children, and vulnerable groups.
President Tinubu and his delegation, which includes his wife and senior officials, will conclude the visit with a state dinner hosted by Macron.
