Global superstar Tiwa Savage has postponed the OVO Wembley Arena performance and all her tour dates which were originally scheduled for November due to health issues.
The award-winning artist is battling a vocal infection which led her to be on strict vocal rest for the foreseeable future. This decision does not come likely for the iconic artist given that 2023 has proven to be a prosperous year for her. The singer who performed at King Charles III’s Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle this year and released back-to-back hits like Gbese featuring Majeed, NSV featuring Bella Shmurda, and Stamina which features Ayra Starr and Young Jonn made the announcement earlier today, Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
Tiwa Savage’s press statement via her social media platform, Instagram, stated, “To my dear Savage Solidiers, I have been fighting off a virus for the past few weeks and was today firmly instructed to be on strict vocal rest for the next few months”.
“I will unfortunaetly have to postpone all performances including my first ever headline show in London. I’m heartbroken and devasted but I have to do this to save what’s left of my voice. I’m so sorry . I love you all and promise to be back performing once I’m fully healed”
