The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the accreditation process for Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres ahead of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr Fabian Benjamin, the Board outlined the steps for new and established centres to register for the accreditation exercise.

Operators of centres accredited for the 2024 UTME are required to indicate their interest through the Centre Management System (CMS) Portal.

Meanwhile, zonal and state offices will assist new centres by creating accounts on the portal to facilitate their registration.

The process includes conducting an Autobot/Autotest, the results of which will determine eligibility for a physical accreditation visit by JAMB officials.

This physical exercise is scheduled for December 2024, but only centres that meet the required standards during the Autotest will proceed.

New CBT centres wishing to participate must first review JAMB’s requirements for establishing approved centres, available at JAMB’s official website.

They must also submit a formal notification of interest to the Registrar via their respective Zonal Directors or State Coordinators.

JAMB stressed that only centres that complete all stages of accreditation and satisfy the outlined requirements will be approved to participate in the 2025 UTME registration and examination.
