Vice President Kashim Shettima has left Abuja for Dubai to represent President Bola Tinubu at the inauguration of a $315 million oil production and storage facility owned by Oriental Energy Limited, a Nigerian oil and gas company. The event is slated for December 14, 2024.
After the launch, Shettima will proceed to Saudi Arabia for the Lesser Hajj (Umrah), visiting Madinah and Makkah from December 16 to 19.
He is also scheduled to meet the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Jeddah on December 20. Discussions will focus on co-financing the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ Phase II) and improving coordination of IsDB projects in Nigeria to enhance agricultural and economic growth.
The Vice President is expected back in Nigeria on December 21, 2024.
