Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria following his participation in the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.

During his engagement, he presented Nigeria’s investment opportunities, advocated for African economic integration, and held discussions with world leaders, including Presidents Duma Boko of Botswana and Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa.

At the “Roadmap to Co-create Investment Opportunities for Africa’s Frontier Markets” session, co-hosted by the African Development Bank and WEF, Shettima stressed Nigeria’s readiness to attract international capital for sustainable growth.

He also reaffirmed the nation’s support for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the potential for digital trade to drive Africa’s $29 trillion economy by 2050.
