The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a slight adjustment to the commencement date of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), now set to begin on Thursday, April 24.

Originally scheduled for April 25, the examination was rescheduled to accommodate crucial obligations involving the Board and its key partner agencies. The change was confirmed in a statement issued on Saturday by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.

In preparation for the examination, registered candidates are expected to print their UTME Notification Slips, which contain essential details such as the exam date, venue, and time. The slips are now available online at www.jamb.gov.ng.

Candidates can access their slips by selecting the “2025 UTME Slip Printing” option on the JAMB portal, entering their registration number, and printing the document. JAMB strongly advised all candidates to visit and familiarise themselves with their exam centres ahead of time to avoid confusion or delays on the test day.

Reiterating its commitment to orderly conduct, the Board warned that candidates must take the exam only at the centres assigned to them within their selected towns. No exceptions will be made for those appearing at unauthorised locations.

“All candidates will be assigned to centres within the towns they selected during registration. Any deviation from this arrangement will not be tolerated,” JAMB stated.
