Rema and Burna Boy were part of the biggest winners at the iHeartRadio Music Awards which was held on Monday, Apil 1, 2024.
Ludacris hosted the annual awards show which was broadcast live from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on FOX. The winners of the night were announced throughout the show. Taylor Swift received nine nominations, while Jelly Roll, SZA, and 21 Savage followed closely behind with eight nominations each. Olivia Rodrigo received seven nominations.
Before the iHeartRadio Music Awards began, several special honours were announced, including the Icon Award for Cher, the Innovator Award for Beyoncé, and the iHeartRadio Landmark Awards for Green Day and TLC. Burna Boy and Rema were the only afrobeats stars who won awards during the night.
